North Cyprus Property

Property in North Cyprus still offers remarkable value for money. It is predicted that a political solution of the longstanding partition of the island will be negotiated by Easter 2009, so now is a good time to invest in a property before the expected price boom which will inevitably follow any political settlement.

Prices are some 40% cheaper than the Greek Republic of Cyprus. Some sunshine locations, such as Spain have witnessed a dramatic property price collapse during 2008, mainly due to excessive speculative building. Most property development in North Cyprus only starts upon receipt of a payment from a customer, so there has never been a glut of empty, speculative villa or apartment developments.
