Property in North Cyprus offers remarkable value for money. A political solution of the longstanding partition of the island remains elusive, despite many false dawns, and it may well be that the partition of the island becomes permanent. North Cyprus is not affected by the financial problems of the Euro, nor the Greek debt crisis.

Prices are some 40% cheaper than the Greek Republic of Cyprus. Some sunshine locations, such as Spain have witnessed a dramatic property price collapse since 2008, mainly due to excessive speculative building. Most property development in North Cyprus only starts upon receipt of a payment from a customer, so there has never been a glut of empty, speculative villa or apartment developments.
